Water has memory.

Amaredam

In a sink, the damaged ocean is revealed. By immersing a hand in the water or by hovering over it, currents of particles dance and form, evoking the marine flows that bring memories to mind. This installation explores the poetry of waves, the resonance of memories, the impact of humanity on nature, and the fragility of our ecosystem.

Amaredam is a neologism derived from the conceptual exploration of "À Marée d’Ames". Its fluid sounds evoke themes related to water, currents, and deep emotions. Indeed, "Amar" in Spanish means "to love", and "dam" in English means "barrier". Amaredam represents an emotional reservoir, an interactive installation set in an intimate space, yet speaking to the world.
